So purposefully, it is a book about an 18 year old girl who faces all kinds of scandalous, deviant, shocking and even passionate events. It is how I coped with coming into being a woman, with high school, with drama, sorrow, and love. And though these events are not real, they are indeed inspired by real things that happened.)Gisele is a young American student who gets swept up into a seductive world of four mysterious twenty-somethings that seem to have all the glamour and life skills of a middle aged oil tycoon, but their means of getting to that point are beyond Gisele. In trying to solve the phenomenon of youth and wisdom combined in these four wildly beautiful young adults, Gisele is persuaded into a number of precarious, sometimes sexual situations that ultimately lead her into a microcosm of insanity, ecstasy, and everything in between.Abandoning her overbearing father and younger brother, Gisele moves in with Eva, Oliver, Isabelle, and Luke. They have a gorgeous mansion, stylish clothes, dreamy eyes, and a sexy French accent. What more could a girl want? But when knives and cracked eggs start appearing in places they dont belong, Gisele begins to question the sanity of her new friends, where they came from, and their intentions with her (besides the intimate deviance). In discovering her sexuality, learning what to do with truth and secrets, Gisele learns some caustic life lessons, and ends up in some dire situations, including falling for an older woman along the way. In this day and age, teenager-hood is not what you think it will be... It may be madder than youve ever imagined.
